Sea Kayaking

Kenneth, Nate, Willow, Aaron, Cori, and I went kayaking out of Amalga Harbor and had nice seas. My favorite part was seeing the Marbled Murrlets dive like water-logged rubber duckies! They are an amazing bird: as an alcid they make their living at sea and will dive to depths of 300 feet for a meal, but will fly 60 miles into the forest to make their nests in 200 foot old growth trees. No pics of them, just a little nerdy guiding info to spruce up your day (no pun intended!). Loved the clouds this day!
